Cindy Vannoy, E-RYT 500. Teaching since 2006, Cindy is continuously inspired by the transformative nature of Yoga to affect change and promote health on many different levels.  She is an internationally registered Yin Yoga Teacher, and a nationally registered E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Instructor holding both 500 hour Embodyoga and 200 hour YogaWorks Certifications. A Yoga of Recovery Counselor, Cindy was instrumental in developing the Yoga program at High Watch Recovery Center in Kent, CT.  She holds advanced teacher certifications in Yoga of the Heart for Cardiac and Cancer Care, Restorative Yoga, Chakra Yoga, and Ayurveda. Cindy is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.



Often called the Lavender Lady, Cindy grows lavender on the family's small farm in Connecticut. Being absorbed in nature offers an opportunity to recognize the beauties and wonders around us. Lavender is best known for its signature scent, calming properties and natural ability to repel insects including moths.  



A professional photographer, Cindy's work has been published in a diverse group of magazines, newspapers, catalogs and websites ranging from Woman’s Day to AutoWeek.  The beauty of being informs this three time Emmy winning producer/director to the world around her as she aims her camera lenses.
