We tend to be selectively aware. The more we are attached to some particular concept of ourself, the more it will limit our awareness. In a world where we've been trained to busy ourselves with DOING, there's an opportunity to treasure everyday experiences by BEING present. Slowing down to notice our breath starts this process of being present. When we are present, we become aware of our true nature.
